Barbra Streisand Launches her Summer Tour in Los Angeles to a Star Studded Sold Out Show

Barbra Streisand kicked off her 2016 summer tour on August 2, 2016 at the Los Angeles Staples center to a sold out crowd. The nine-city tour, titled “Barbra: The Music…The Mem’ries…the Magic!” started in Los Angeles and will end at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. Streisand started with a bang in Los Angeles as she put on an amazing show with some special guest appearances.

The tour promotes her upcoming 35th studio album, “Encore: Movie Partners Sing Broadway,” and she had some friends to help her out. Seth McFarlane, probably best known as the creator of Family Guy but an overall renaissance man, teamed up with Streisand on “Pure Imagination”. Jamie Foxx, who will accompany her on a her album along with McFarlane, joined her in a duet singing, “Climb Every Mountain”. Eleven-time-Grammy winner Kenny “Babyface” Edwards joined Streisand onstage to perform “Evergreen (Love Theme from A Star is Born),” off her last duets album, 2014’s Partners.

Streisand new album is a duet album and features vocals from the likes of Foxx, MacFarlane, Chris Pine, Daisy Ridley, Alec Baldwin, Anne Hathaway, and more. Throughout the show, she showed pictures and videos from films, albums and a behind the scenes of the making of her new album all while pandering to the crowd

The legendary singer will continue her tour throughout August with her new album coming out August 26th.
